The Self-Contained Camper is set up to sleep 2 adults + 1 child, with an internal-access rooftop tent providing the main sleeping area.

Our Canopy Camper rooftop tent is designed for quick setup and pack-down. Once set up, the sleeping area is accessed directly from inside the camper canopy, so there’s no need to climb an external ladder to get into bed.

We’ll show you how to set up, pack down and access the tent during your vehicle handover.

Yes! The camper is fitted with a diesel heater to keep the sleeping area comfortable on colder nights and winter trips. The heater exhaust vents outside the camper, and we’ll show you how to operate the system safely during your vehicle handover.

Mobile coverage can be limited in rural and back-country areas, so our Beast Camper has some extra backup.

It’s fitted with FleetPin SOS and Safetrax rollover safety technology, providing additional vehicle safety and emergency alert capability when travelling remotely.

We still recommend planning ahead — check the weather, road and route conditions before you travel, download maps for offline use, and don’t rely solely on your phone when heading beyond normal mobile coverage.

Our Self-Contained Camper has a two-section sleeping area:

Main section: 2,075 mm × 1,225 mm
Rear section: 1,225–1,340 mm × 430 mm

The camper is fitted with a 70 mm high-density foam mattress, with the sleeping area accessible from inside the canopy.

The Self-Contained Camper’s self-containment certification covers up to 4 people, while the camper itself is set up to sleep 2 adults + 1 child.

The Self-Contained Camper is a capable 4WD suitable for sealed roads, gravel roads and approved back-country routes.

Height clearance: Our Beast Camper stands approximately 2.3 m high, so always check height restrictions before entering parking buildings, covered car parks or other low-clearance areas.

Being certified self-contained gives you more flexibility when travelling, but it doesn’t mean you can camp anywhere. Freedom camping rules vary between locations, and individual councils may have their own designated areas, restrictions or local requirements.

A little planning goes a long way — check the rules for the district you’re visiting, use designated facilities or dump stations for waste and grey-water disposal, and leave your campsite as you found it.
